Loft
House located in the Tamagawa Denenchofu area in Tokyo. Placed on a fraction of a recently subdivided plot, the project aims to maximize the interior space by proposing a simple volume reminiscent of a protoypical house image.
Spaces interconnect by means of double heights, stairs and natural light. Interior finishings selection is composed by a combination of exposed natural finishings and line products, aiming emphasizing interior light reflection and cross ventialtion on all spaces.
The whole building envelope is evenly insulated with spray foam, reaching a degree of airtightness that allows an integral temperature and humidy control of the whole house by a simple underfloor AC system.
Use: Private residence
Area: 140 m2
