The new building for the Cohousing Tamaden project has been completed at the end of November 2022. Delays and over costs derived from the Covid-19 restrictions as well from the geopolitical situation made construction a challenging process. The collaboration from all involved contractors and subcontractors was key to the successful completion of the building.
Full occupation of the apartments and the interior construction of the north wing will extend till February 2023.
The basic design stage for the Co-housing Tamagawa-Denenchofu project has been finished and will enter the detailed design phase before the end of 2020. Construction is expected to start during the summer of 2021, lasting one year. The project will complete the front of a street where other two projects produced by Community House are located. These projects are Abitare Tamagawa Denenchofu (2003) and Keyaki Garden (2008).
Cohousing Tamaden will include five apartment units, commercial spaces, and common areas that can be shared by residents and the surrounding community. More information about the project will be published on this site in the future.
Pictures for the house in San Francisco (Cundinamarca, Colombia) have been updated. The original pictures were taken in 2010 and the new ones in 2020. After 10 years of been inhabited, the house has aged normally and the garden has grown considerably.
UPDATE 2023/02/10: The virtual tour site Roundme.com has been down since January 2023, thus disabling access to the Maekawa House virtual tour.

Keyaki Garden 203 Interior Panoramas-ケヤキガーデン203号室インテリアパノラマ
We had some time to play with a panorama camera. These panoramas can be seen in any browser that has WebGL enabled. Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Firefox have this capability.
